Kind, bearded musician plays Hundred Acre Wood

Children of various ages were treated to quite the show in the Hundred Acre Wood Saturday when a bearded man showed up to serenade them with the guitar.
Overcome with emotion, one of the children rushed the stage during the first song and had to be restrained. In his captivity, the boy used a badminton racket as a guitar in order to strum along with the talented troubadour.
Winnie-the-Pooh was also spotted during the show, peaking around a tree.
The man played a four song set and as quickly as he had appeared, he was gone again. He left only inspiration and a world of imagination with his young audience.

If you're looking for a good deed to do

This organization provides hospice care for animals who are disabled as a result of neglect or puppy mills. Angel's Gate was featured today on Oprah. Since I'm pg I didn't just cry, I boo hoo-ed. Check out the web site and see what they are doing; it's fantastic.

Yoga and yogurt

I'm taking a prenatal yoga class at the Yoga Gallery on Trade, and I am really enjoying it. So far I've found a stretch that really eases the sciatica problems I have after sitting in a hard chair (pigeon), a stretch for Jon to do to ease his hamstring tightness, and I'm going to share a stretch I learned tonight with a friend at work tomorrow. I also feel like the yogi takes into account our differing levels of pregnancy, so those who are greater than 34 weeks along receive appropriate alterations in some of the poses to avoid complications.

Also, I love Yo Mommy yogurt.

Showered...with love!

We just returned from a road trip to Nash-Vegas and Jon's hometown of Fulton, Ky. where we were given a fantastic shower by the Pulleys. Little Jude is going to be one well-dressed little fella!

We had a good visit with a lot of family that we hadn't seen for a year and a half, which we have agreed is just too long! It's hard living so far from so much of our family, but the one thing about getting together with family is that the experiences you've shared in the past make the time you've missed in between seem shorter.

Photos to come...

Rockin'

We will be rocking our baby in July thanks to our dear friend and on-again, off-again roomy Brendan. Here are some pics of Jon in the glider and Lucy testing it out. (I'm 25 weeks along BTW, 105 days to go!)
